New routes announced by North America’s best airline – Air Canada announced the addition of three new, non-stop, seasonal routes between Vancouver and Auckland, New Zealand, Toronto and Quito, Ecuador and Montreal to São Paulo, Brazil. Air Canada, has won the Skytrax award for the second consecutive year due to global expansion, fleet renewal and for the introduction of Signature Class.
Air Canada won “Best Airline in North America” for the second consecutive year at the 2018 Skytrax World Airline Awards. The accolade is based on passenger satisfaction surveys carried out across approximately 20 million global travelers, demonstrating that Air Canada is truly a passenger favorite around the world. This is the seventh time in the past nine years that Air Canada has been selected for the award and the result this year is seen by many in the industry as a reflection of continued investment in customer service training, fleet renewals, the recent launch of the Signature service and global expansion.
Continuing its global network expansion, Air Canada announced the addition of three new, non-stop, seasonal routes between Vancouver and Auckland, New Zealand, Toronto and Quito, Ecuador and Montreal to São Paulo, Brazil.
Kia Ora! Air Canada's flights to Auckland will operate four times weekly onboard the carrier's state-of-the-art flagship Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft beginning December 12, 2019 until the end of March 2020. As well as playing a role in Air Canada’s network expansion globally, the Auckland route will increase the carrier’s presence in the Asia Pacific Market. The launch of Auckland service in December will be of particular interest to New Zealanders travelling for a Canadian winter vacation, and to North Americans travelling to enjoy New Zealand's vibrant multicultural urban and natural attractions during their summer season.
Bienvenido! Air Canada’s new route to Quito, Ecuador will be operated three-times weekly on a seasonal basis by Air Canada Rouge and will be the first non-stop service to Ecuador from Canada when it begins December 8, 2019. Air Canada is expanding its footprint in South America as part of its ongoing international growth strategy from our Toronto global hub. As the capital of Ecuador, Quito is both an important tourism and cargo market, and Ecuador has a growing number of Canadians living in the country who will also benefit from this convenient non-stop service.
Bem vindo! Air Canada’s new winter service from Montreal to São Paulo is the only non-stop flights between the two cities. This new route to São Paulo will commence on December 11, 2019 and operate three return-trips weekly from Montreal until March 27, 2020. Flights are timed for convenient connections across Air Canada's network in North America, including to and from Vancouver, Calgary and Quebec City, as well as several Brazilian cities beyond São Paulo.
